I’m motived to change how companies approach employee development by overturning the belief that one-and-done trainings are enough to solidify knowledge and motivate teams to incorporate the desired behavior changes into their work routines. Companies continue investing millions into training programs and enterprise learning software simply because they’re quick, easy, and mass distributed. The problem is, they don’t always work and often have zero follow through. My training experiences are different. I give learners the human connection technology lacks, incorporate discussions and interactions that challenge employees to think differently, and provide on-the-job application and experimentation that builds better, higher performing teams.
